According to BPS data in 2020, animal protein consumption in Indonesia is 51.6 million tons per year. The large demand for livestock products is not matched by the strength of the supply of farmers in Indonesia. This causes the government to have to import to meet the animal protein needs of the Indonesian people.
Apart from the lack of supply strength, another problem complained of from local animal protein products is the quality problem. Only 9.6% of meat circulating in Indonesia is slaughtered by legal and government certified abattoirs. Many processed livestock products are slaughtered and processed traditionally without clearly knowing their halal status, safety, and origin

The Ternaknesia ecosystem was developed in two applications, namely Ternaknesia as a marketing channel that helps consumers get safe and quality livestock products.
